While checking out a slide made from a hay infusion culture I came across an amoeba in the process of capturing another amoeba, possibly an Arcella.

That is very cool Ron! Very interesting to see. I have watched "naked" amoeba "bump" into each other, and watched in anticipation to see what would happen. They will glide by each other and go their separate ways. Looks like this Arcella is not so fortunate.
