Xanthidium armatum

Took a sample from the same fen 2 years ago, and found desmid Xanthidium armatum again. This time tried to use DIC (picture 1, 40x),
and oil immersion (picture 2, 50x). Unfortunately there was no time to go through the rest but I'm keeping the fen water sample meantime.
