Very nice. :)

How did you get 3x from a 150 and a 25?

Thank you, Chris!

The combo was mounted directly on camera, without Bellows.

That looks really good! How is it at 100%?

What if you replaced the 150 with the Oly 60mm and used auto focus bracketing? A bit lower m but could be very fast to capture.

Thank you all!

Lou, it looks good enough for me at 100%. Sure, it would look better if I had used the Mitty 7.5 + 80mm TL at 3X.

I don't own the Oly 60, I have not had an AF lens for years, all my lenses are MF. I don't miss AF lenses at all...

I never use them for autofocusing, but they are really useful for automated fast focus bracketing.

Focus bracketing is a really nice feature for field stacking or studio stacking with live bugs/plants. For "conventional" studio work, as in this case, I don't think it's so useful.
Also, I rarely work at around 1X, and when I do, I have good lenses for that range, so I'm not investing in a Zuiko just for the focus bracketing.

Yes, if your subjects don't move, and you have better lenses at 1x, it is not that interesting. The only advantage is that you can make stacks with ten different positions or lighting arrangements in the time it would take to do one regular stack. So maybe for tricky subjects like shiny crystals it might still be worthwhile
