A female fruit fly (Diptera: Tephritidae: Strauzia sp.). Pity they are not larger, but thankful that we have great camera systems.

Sure is a bright little thing, pretty though for a fly. I managed a shot or two a long time ago of some fruit flies, using a 60mm macro. Luckly they turned out. Great image here Tony :D
