Post by Adalbert »

Hello everybody,
This time I would like to present you the Raynox DCR-150 mounted with Harley clamps:
Image
- distance between Raynox and microscope lens = 5,5cm
- distance between Raynox and camera sensor = 20cm (till 17cm)

BTW, SIGMA LSA on Harley looks like follows:

Thanks for pointing me to those Harley clamps. I will order some of those. Does the flat face need some machining where they contact the arca clamp? They look like cast material without machining so they might wobble a little.

regards
Lothar

P.S. for tubes with smooth outer surface you could go for T2 Extension tubes and, convert them with a M42x1 -> M42x0.75 or use a T2-Adapter directly for camera connection.

Hello Lothar,
Does the flat face need some machining where they contact the arca clamp?
Hmm, probably it would be better to adapt the Harley to Arca but I haven’t changed anything.
BTW, the diameter of the delivered screws is 7,8mm but I have mounted the Harley to the Arca with the UNC ¼”
