Lomo on Makro-Symmar 'first light'

Post by Rudi »

I often find myself 'the-most-limiting-factor' when it comes to creating nice, interesting images....I know, new gear isn't helping but, I recently 'stepped-up' ( Always a good excuse hé.). from reversed lenses to microscoop objectifs. Lets say I suffered a little (much) from GAS too... :D
A few months ago I bought a Lomo 3,7/0,11 ( finally arrived last week) and a nikon cfi 10x.
Thanks to the abundant info and the wonderfull test being published here on the site, GAS hit me again and I got a very nice Makro-Symmar.
Robert's test (Thanks again!!) prompted me to stack the Lomo on top off the Makro-Symmar , a fresh expired fly and its 'first light' was a fact....I can not compare with other objectifs in this range but I think it came out very nice, please feel free to correct me iff I am wrong.
C&C most welcomed.

Todd, I understand that your question is how to attach the microscope objective to Makro Symmar.
It's very easy, it depends on the objective. Normally you have to use an RMS adapter. Here you have a search on ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... r&_sacat=0

There are other objectives, like the Mitutoyo, that need a different adapter

https://www.ebay.com/itm/M26-Mitutoyo-N ... :rk:5:pf:0

and then a m42 adapter to the lens filter (if it has a filter thread)
