Like that! Different perspective, but I think it would still stand out the right way up. A very clean stack.

A very nice image. The resolution of the eye is excellent. And the scales are very crisp!

I puzzle over the apparent opacity of such eyes as these. Perhaps in life the lenses present a more transparent appearance. Next summer I shall have to look more closely at a fresh leaf weevil specimen. I just came in from removing 8" of snow from my driveway. Not much opportunity today!
