Must say I've been a little sceptical about the false colors, but that last one is truly spectacular.

The butterfly scale is beautiful. Personally I prefer the black and white ones like that butterfly scale. The false colors make an image which grabs one's attention but somehow the colors make the image harder to interpret and digest.

For larger ones, Tradescantia is often easy to find,
table of sizes here:

Then if you slice across a few leaves with a razor, you could get cross sections...

Plant cells in high vacuum swell -I'm lucky they didn't explode, so thin slices are impossible
