Please help, i'm trying to learn what step size to work at. But have no idea what any of this means :/

I wouldn't even know what --> * <-- stands for? :/ I can take a great image, but don't have any understanding how or why the image is that way lol

Could anyone please explain like you would and absolute child how to work out an effective Um, or i'll just for safety's sake use 30Um.

Using a sony a6300 + Laowa 25mm 2.5-5X
