I finally got one last week.. for 56 € + 13€ shipping after scanning the eBay daily for more than a month ...

I was lucky.. mine seems to be brand new / never used.. the thread was virgin without marks of use... (maybe old stock)

I'm looking for the data sheet but without success .. downloaded a few Zeiss catalogues, one with more than 100 pages but no sign of Semiplans... Sad

Also very happy for having now something between 4x - 10x.. no more having to elongate / shrinking magnifications to silly values ...

All picture at 6.3x 'ish

Hi there Yawns,
This is great macro, love the light and details.
Did you soak the specimen in some liquid before shooting?

This is great inspiration Very Happy

Thanks for sharing Wink

Hello Harald, thank you ...

I ty to capture / kill (freezer) / stack in short time
and I capture them in sterilised sample flasks I get at the chemist

the flasks also work great as protective domes to keep them free of dust or whatever for a couple of days.. it's best to work with fresh insects than to clean with ultrasounds or whatever ...
