Well at least you didn't have to worry about it "springing" out of the frame just before you took the picture!

Thanks guys :D and since you brought it up Charlie, I placed some of them without a coverslip in place on the microscope stage just to take a quick peek. Needless to say there were springtails hopping every which way. The stream where I gathered my samples were covered in them, as there were many in the jar when I arrived back home. :D
