For continuity, I will include the studio shots here but please move if necessary. This is the same specimen as photo number two above [that is, in the other thread] but dried. The species is Lamproderma pulveratum. The white crystals are characteristic and consist of calcium oxalate I believe.

Yayy - one of the rare stereos that actually works for me. It could simply be the large, high contrast features that help (the black balls in this case). I'll look out for that in future. Thanks.
