BUBBLES

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. Always in the way when studying submerged subject matter. I decided to put the little buggers to work to create some winter-time still life’s.

They turned out out to be fun to work with as their lensing and reflecting properties made for a new little discovery each time an image was made. Depending on how they were situated on a surface they would reveal a distorted but wide angle view of what was behind and below them. As Zerene stacker would work it’s magic, the bubble would reveal what it was hiding and display reflections off its outer surface as well.

Look into my bubbles. I have been having a ball! (Pun intended.)

I really like the lensing effect in the middle bubble of the last picture!
