Thought I'd try the Canon MP today on the AMD die since I already did the MPE a few weeks ago. Still a PITA and I still didn't nail it but close. I divided the chip into 9 sections. Each section had 22 stacked images, then stitched together using MS ICE. Here's a larger version;
