In our German forum we are frequently discussing if those rather expensive microcams by Motic, Zeiss etc. make any sense (not to mention good pics )
How expensive was your Microcular? Is it that sort of 300 € thing?
Another question: what makes you think this is a Paramecium? It looks like a Frontonia to me.

I paid 300 € for my cam.today the price is 359.you can see it on the website www.microscopes.fr (brand:Bresser)
it's a paramecia,but it's flatened by coverglass.before this,I saw it swiming and for me,no doubt.
