Hi there good people,
Here is an image I´ve been working with. Stack of 50 images pMax.
Canon EOS 7D and MP-E65 @1x. f/4.5 and 1/10 shutter speed.
The Elbaite is 16mm long :D

Harald, it's a nice image but I am unclear what I'm looking at.

Is this a single rod plus a reflection, or two rods somehow joined end-to-end?

If it's a reflection, then how is the specimen supported?

Very nice, but there seems to be a magenta/pink cast to the background - maybe some color balancing is needed?

This is a single Elbaite crystal placed on a black acrylic background. The crystal is supported by a needle on the right side, later removed in PS..
