OLED Display

Post by mawyatt »

One of my colleagues, Parker R, got a 55" LG OLED 4k TV to use as a display for his images. He hooked up a Mac Mini to control the display and uses LR Slideshow. Works great he said.

Our main old Samsung 55" TV has developed really annoying lines thru the display and I looked into fixing it but decided it wasn't worth the effort nor $. So I decided to get the same LG OLED 4k TV as Parker per his recommendations.

I used a USB stick with a few jpeg images to input to the TV to check it out. They looked awesome, then I got a 50MB JPEG of a wafer taken with my D850 and it seemed like you could zoom in and walk around inside the chip!!

Anyone considering a large TV and/or display should take a look at these LG OLED 4k TV's they are stunning with high res & DR jpeg images.

Here's the 55" LG 4k OLED from B&H.
