Dragonfly nymph
Dragonfly nymphs may live up to five years before becoming an actual dragonfly. Therefore they go through a series of molts as they develop into the end product. You can capture a nymph at any stage moving toward maturity.

Re: Dragonfly nymph
Well that's another surprise (didn't know). I spend more time dabbling around ponds and streams than most normal folks (everybody here excepted of course ) but I've *never* seen one. Assuming that's where they spend their formative years of course. Another topic for my "must google it sometime" list. Thanks.Olympusman wrote:Dragonfly nymphs may live up to five years before becoming an actual dragonfly. Therefore they go through a series of molts as they develop into the end product.
