Interesting images. Though the wait is three months and a handful of days till warm weather returns, I find myself in anticipation of collecting and photographing as many myxo's this year as I can find. How do these things fit in, how do or what do they contribute to the whole of nature? Their only natural predators seem to be snails and a beetle or two, though I have read somewhere of tribesman in some remote area of the world dining on exceptionally large plasmodia, I suppose that would be no different than eating scrambled eggs eh?
