Mitutoyo MPlan 7.5x/0.21 vs 10x/0.28 on 150mm tube lens

Post by pawbla86 »

Hi all,

I am curious about the quality of the image from Mitutoyo M Plan APO 7.5x and Mitutoyo M Plan 10x for 150mm. Did any of you do such tests and could you show?

M plan apo 7.5x It is much more expensive and unreachable (less available)
I do not know if it pays to buy it or ... better connect Mitutoyo 10x with a 150mm lens (tube/prime lens)

The 10x does fine on a 150mm tube lens on an APS camera. It will give you better results in the center than the 7.5x used with a 200mm tube lens (I assume this is the comparison you want to make). You could even use a 135mm tube lens with it on an APS camera. There are lots of examples in this forum.
