Yes, that is phase contrast. The phase in the video was made back before I sold my Nikon and Zeiss stuff. About a year ago I lost interest in the microscopy hobby and a few months ago I sold most of my equipment. Right after I sold my stuff, I got interested in doing more videos but had only my cheap Chinese optics to work with. The sequences in the video showing phase contrast were done with a 20X Nikon CFN objective and a 40X Zeiss Neofluar objective.
