Another piece of computer PCB multilayer, with SMD ceramic capacitors in cross section. Several capacitor layers are visible here.
In this preparation with diamond grinding discs several small parts of the capacitor obviously broke away.

Gerd,

Very nice. Love the ceramic capacitor interior view!! If you ever get a chance I think a similar view of a dry slug tantalum surface mount capacitor would be interesting.
