Hi all,

Here is a couple more studies of the Bumble Bee.

The first is a little more "Cute" than my last post of the Bumble Bee.

Bye for now.

Yes Ken, both images are made from stacks.

The first one needed 50 frames of 0.2 mm adjustment to get the depth of field to cover most of the Bee's body length. The second image took 28 frames of 0.2 mm to get the depth of field I wanted.

I also really like the first image. There seems to be some life in it, rather than just an illustration of Bee anatomy. Including the piece of a leaf also seems to have added something to the image.

Maybe I'm getting a little artisitic in my old age. Laughing

Thanks for the comment.

The more I look at this image, the more I like it.

I've learned so much since I joined this forum, and now I feel I'm beginning to improve my macro images to a level I never achieved before.

I really appreciate all the patient advice I've received from members of this forum. Thanks a lot everybody.

Bye for now.
