Hello Frank,
great, well done!
I have just finished the assembling of my equipment with two magnetic valves and would like to try to take some photographs of the water drops.
Would you please be so kind as to tell me which delays should I use?
e.g. Distance = 40cm, pipe = 4mm, valve1=50ms ; wait for valve2=100ms, valve2=40ms, wait for flash=250ms
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone and thank you.
I forgot to answer.

I use the Canon 5DMII. All photos are flashing, some with three flashes.
The drops are partly colored and also some flashes are colored.
The delays I had not written down with this setup.
The delays are also dependent on the tolerances of the valves and the size of the drops.
However, they were about 110 ms, drop height about 45 cm.
Lens: Canon EF 100mm / 1: 2.8 USM Macro
Use aperture 16.

f/16 will get you a lot of diffraction.... roughly how big is the splash - i.e. are you at 1:1 magnification (24mm x 36mm subject) or bigger?

The magnification was about 1:2.
The diffractions are not recognizable and the quality of the photo is acceptable.
