Very nice image of a difficult subject. I tried a stack of one of these years ago that ended up in my recycle bin. But you did a great job with it.
I caught one on video last summer. They're funny little things with a whimsical kind of movement. https://youtu.be/Ob6tESvi6FY?t=69 The mite comes in at 1:09.

Sometimes I try to glue/tape/immobilize the subject in a certain position and leave it like that for a day or more so it hardens in that position but it doesn't always work. Sometimes is just luck, one day you get it perfect the first time, the second day the leg just won't bend that wayBeatsy wrote:Wow, the ant is in a convincingly life-like pose (well, it looks life-like to me). I'm trying to do this too (just started tackling it), but as you say "it's hard". Any tips you might share would be much appreciated. Thanks.
