Tetracha spixii opulenta - broken specimen

Post by Beatsy »

Luckily the head and a bit of one side at the front of the body remained intact enough to make an image - even if just another "head only" shot. 5x mitty @ ~3.5x onto APS-C. Stack of 250 images rendered in Zerene as PMAX + 14 slabs for retouching. Background tidied a bit in CS6. Levels, crop and vignette in LR4.

It's a shame that these critters are so small. What fun times humans would have if they were just a little bigger.
I'm in Canada! Isn't that weird?
