Backlighting works well for that one. I like the curled up leaf (cotolydon?) showing through. Neat.

Great photo. I like the lightning. I am trying to taking photos of plant parts but have problems with the lightning. The usual surrounding diffuser method does not work that well on translucent materials, expecially bright colors. Mayby i should try some of that backlightning too.

Nice, inspired me to try the something similar. Have now a number of seeds, including tomato, glued lightly to glass slides and placed between wet sheets of toilet paper in a plastic bag. I used both a non-water soluble glue and also some microscope slide mountant to "glue" the seeds to the slides. Now I am waiting for the seeds to germinate. I wonder what was your method of fixing the seeds?
