For sale: Zeiss Jena apo 20x 0.65 objective

For sale is a Zeiss Jena apochromatic 20x NA 0.65 microscope objective. 160 mm tube length, about 34 mm parfocal (slightly longer than 33 mm parfocal LOMO objectives).

Condition is very good optically, though its metal shell has scratches and imperfections.

I will be honest here - though you may not be able to see this with your naked eye or with a centering phase telescope - its image quality is not affected/changed, compared to a like-new LOMO apo 20x NA 0.65. And you can return it, no question asked - I will even refund $3.4 (50%) for your return shipping, if you want.

There is very minor edge imperfection (likely very minor delamination). The imperfection is so small, that I could not even photograph it from back lens under daylight or full NA transmitted light (it is invisible from back lens, under daylight or full NA cone transmitted light). But I was able to image it, from above, using highly oblique reflective light (see last photo, optically zoomed to 10x).

I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) with optics, so I mention every imperfection here, even if it does not affect image, as in this case. All my optics are examined under various microscopes (using Klaus Kemp diatom slide, centering phase telescope, compound and macroscopes), before they go on sale. This is because I want my buyers to be happy and I care about my eBay reputation, which I consider more valuable than any item that I have sold or am selling.
