I found this little chap sat on an ivy berry today. I figured it got caught in this morning's frost and expired in situ. So, not wanting to miss the chance at a "naturally posed" small insect, I picked the berry and set it up on the macro rail. I took the stack below using a 20x mitty, 280 images and ran it through Zerene pmax with a minor retouch of the middle leg to remove a plant hair showing through. Not bad for a first go...
So I decided to attempt cleaning the bits of detritus off and then try a few more stacks from different angles. Fat chance! The aphid had woken up and was wandering around the berry! Tough little sod. Oh well. I'll count myself lucky that it at least held still for the one portrait

Very nice photo.
The star shaped hairs are very decorative.
