Micropia

Post by houstontx »

This may have been mentioned before but there is a great "museum" in amsterdam called Micropia. I think it won europe's best new museum award when it opened. Anyway I was like a kid in a candy store. Everything is Zeiss, all microscopes are DIC equipped and the stereozoom scopes have dual camera attachments with 3D stereo viewers. You get to control the scopes with a joystick. There are many immersive & interactive exhibits. They even have an in house lab where they prep and preserve slides and specimens. Very Cool. If you have a chance to go I highly recommend it.
