Tipulidae

Post by Yawns »

I'm doing this kind of stuff on and off since last January, lately more On than Off, and I think I can't do better than this with the modest equipment I have...
buying an Apo Mobj, an enlarging lens APO HM or an auto rail is out of question for the moment or near future.

Some Tipulidae, probably of the Nephrotoma genus

Great details.

I want to try similar shots at home with my bellows, but my lenses (Canon FD) are very old... So I want to try my Sigma 150mm with step down rings and the Raynox DCR-250. Only problem is to find the best light for my Setup. Now I got some inspiration from you :-)

How do you adapt the microscope lens (?) on your zoom lens?
best regards
Markus
