I have been fascinated for many years by extreme macro but had no clue how to start. I am still reading this site trying to learn about microscope lenses and also which would be better either microscope or even the MPE65. I don't have a rail so I moved the focus position by hand which is a painstaking exercise. The cameras I am using are the Canon 7D, 70D, and the 5D MK3. The lens is the Canon 100mm macro f2.8 with various extension tubes attached. Image Image Image Image

Beautiful pictures! I like them. :D
Are the pictures single shot or are they stacked?

to gather these images "by hand" is impressive. Nicely done

What are you using to stitch them together?

Very nice set. Good quality and nice colors.

I am also very interested in doing extreme macro. At the moment I haven't tried it for about 5 years...
best regards
