Gathered a fresh pond sample and found quite a few of these euglena (Euglena spirogyra, I think). I tried to show the mouth and its single flagella in the top trwo and really tried to show the fascinating texture of the pellicle in the third. Always squirming and rarely in a "flat" position makes it something of a challange especially with the 100X.
