Glossy little beggar! Had trouble with stacking leaving lots of background artefacts that were too hard/laborious to clean up. So I masked it onto a flat black background instead.

Excellent pic. I'm getting jealous because there seems to be a real dearth of insects here this year. I've been hunting high and low.. nada.

Very nice indeed, I love the way the reflections have been kept so low key, lovely lighting.

Revisited this bug with a 10x mitty @ 6x while tinkering and testing. Close-up (near abstract) of the ocelli - a very tight crop from a stacked image.
