The illumination is a nice mix of directionality for modeling, combined with good diffusion for sharpness and highlight control.

Can you say a few more words about what you're using for diffusion?

First, those are inspiring images, what I want to achieve. My question is
how do you hold the bug? I don't want to crush or puncture them, but I
want to rotate in as many axis as possible. I have some really really
small ant-like bugs, like 2mm, that would fit in a well-slide! Thanks,
