With the first form, as you have it now, some browsers put a confusing line break between the words "pond" and "life", then put "life" on the same line as your image. (Firefox breaks as desired between "life" and the image, but Internet Explorer 6.0 does it the bad way, between "pond" and "life".)pond life.
