Medical diffuser

Post by Adalbert »

Hello everyone,

I’m a beginner and trying to complete the equipment for the macrophotography.

Now, I would like to show you my first diffuser based on the Omeprazol (medicine).

The next one will be from the plastic bottle of the Müller-milk (it is thinner).

I like DIY simple setups like yours :D

About the diffuser I see a fundamental design flaw: to be really effective it must surround the subject, for example placing it at the end of the objective. The goal is to have a very big light source from the point of view of the subject. With your posted configuration the light will come only from one side.

There are lots of threads about the subject in the forum to pick good ideas.

Hello Pau,

Actually I have just tried to implement this idea.

The diffuser is mounted to the adapter/tube by the lens.

Only the view to the background is free.
Should I close it?

Best regards,
Adi
