These are all studio shots with Canon 7D Mark II and Sigma 50mm macro and Canon 65 mm MP lens.

Nice shots!

Do you recall what apertures were set on the lens? They seem overall just a tad less sharp overall than I would expect with those lenses... perhaps from using an aperture that is too small. This can also be caused by the software/method used to "downsize" the full-res image to web size. In many cases it is desirable to do some sharpening after a significant down-size.

Nice arrangement, doesn't appear to be studio -at least to me. Great work!!!

I have same question as Krebs (see above).

Also, I would like to know if the specimen was dead or alive? If dead, it certainly looks alive!

And please tell what lighting you use!
