microphot FXA with EPI-FL3

Post by piermicro »

I would like to use the accessory (Nikon EPI-FL3 on microphot FXA) for
the only episcopia in light field. I thought it would work by removing
to a filter cube its filters and the mirror for fluorescence, and
replacing the mirror with a common semi-reflective mirror. Not so,
because it is not possible to focus on the preparation. What is the
matter? Could someone advise me on this? Is there a particular cube
filter that transforms the accessory EPI-FL3 in an accessory for
episcopia in light field?
Thanks for the reply

I don't know any details about your microscopes, but...

Could you see the image removing the complete fluorescence cube but not the illuminator itself?

Appart of the filters, is there any lens that you're removing with the fluo cube?
