Insect on leaf

Post by salden »

The leaves on this plant is very "textured" and had plenty of white "dust" on it. Made it rather difficult to photograph, but I was going after the insect.

So, we need to dust the garden a bit more often, eh? You know this maybe would make a good b & w. :D

I suppose I should not have used the word "dust" . The white spots are actually part of the plant and will not come off, but it makes the leave very reflective.

The leaf texture does give it a "hot" look but the insect is a good contrast against the leaf and shows up very well.

Thanks Doug. It does have good contrast, but I really wished that leaf was not so reflect. It was difficult to expose.

I have the same thing here on some form of succulent Sue. Its like a sticky dust if that makes sense. It does wipe off but not something really to worry about. This looks like it could be a type of strange bee Sue. Don't think its a wasp, maybe a bee.

All the best up your way Sue :D

Danny.
Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.
