The amazing inon UFL-MR130 EFS60

Post by TimVisser »

I have found an amazing wide-angle macro lens set up. It is the inon UFL-MR130 EFS60 used in combination with 60mm 2.8 from canon. The only problem is that is is designed for underwater photography. A bug eye which focus on 0cm.

Personally I think that the combination wil also be great for 'normal on land' macro images. You might have to create an system for it with extension tubes ect. in order to create the same effect. Does somebody has any experience with this?

I have no experience with this lens. From basic optics considerations, I have concerns that it may not work well in air. Because it is specifically designed for use in water, it may incorporate water immersion as part of the optical formula. You would have to test to be sure.

Oke, that seems logic. I am going to test the lens so in order to find out. Will keep you posted
