... no kidding, except for me "just about everything' I do in this hobby (for me anyway) is a learning curve. <g> I've 'completely abandoned my Astronomy hobby for the last 18 months and I have a TON of Astronomy projects on the back burner, including two piers that folks are waiting on. Thankfully I didn't accept a deposit from anyone. <g>

It looks the same as the one on a Measurescope UM-2, UM-11 and some others. Labophot 1 is similar. 200µM/rev. Discussed recently regarding which side the bolts came through from!
Labophot 2 is 100µM/rev.
A BHMJ is also 200µM/rev, also about 30mm travel. Pretty much the same , though it also has a big hole through it for fitting to a pole.

You mean this one ?ChrisR wrote:Saul what's the black plate with the slot-head screws though it? Did you make that too?
I had a luck on eBay, it is from the Reichert Microsctar IV head, it was just this plate and tube lens, exactly what I needed for this adapter. As you can see from this thread, I succesfully used the same type trino head for my setup. BTW, tube lens is removed in this adapter.
If you like it, you can go different route - below you can see again bottom plate from some monocular head (suspect AO), mated with 42-72 adapter (not finished yet, have to screw it together, paint it)
