Absolutely beautiful images, and very interesting lighting setup!!

I have something similar, but with multiple strobes for my usual chip and/or wafer subjects. Recently I've replaced the strobe modeling lamps with LEDs, so I can do continuous illumination without the massive heat build up from the incandescent bulbs, as well as flash.

Sometimes I'll use 2 light tents (small one (~30cm) inside larger one) or a foam cup inside a light tent for more diffusion. Are you using a single layer for diffusion or multiple layers?

I have some images of the setup but don't what to detract from your thread, unless you want to see them.

I imagine that Frédéric is quite happy with what he has, but I for one am always looking for alternatives.
