Don't know what either of these are Craig but you did an excellent job in photographing them. :D Looks as though the first is tapping a vein in the leaf and for some reason the second reminds me of a Lady Bug larvae of sorts, not saying that's what it is of course. :-k

Another set of great photos Craig. The head-on is awesome and the second one is pretty creepy looking. It does look like some sort of beetle larvae. It reminds me of a leech with legs....get any leechs on you in the jungle??? :shock:

It is a beetle larvae or larviform adult. Either a Lampyrid or Phengodid. Dont know this group well enough to give more than that.
