Hi, I've been thinking about getting into microphotography for a while now.
I'm a complete newbie. Any objective recommendations for a dslr.?
I'm a hands on learner so I'd love to get started ASAP.
Thanks.

Well, that's a pretty open question. It reminds me about a skit years ago on Saturday Night Live about a sports call-in show:
Commentator: Hello, you're on the air.
Caller: Yes, I have a question about baseball.
Commentator: Go ahead.
Caller: How do you play it?
A lot of it depends on what you want to photograph. I recommend going to the equipment posts and look at some of the setups we are using. Almost all of us are using some kind of hybrid setup to use different types of cameras with different types of microscopes. Some of the setups are quite straightforward and some are very sophisticated.
I would say, start with a microscope (preferably a trinocular) and become acquainted with microscopy. Then we can help you with the interface between your scope and a camera.
