Hallo everybody,
Here two stamens of a Parnassia pallustris;
BH2 Phase 10x, 4 pictures stitched in Photoshop, background substraction with Fovea Pro plug in, Eos 350D and Flash.

I am not familar with these particular stamens but you have captured a great deal of detail within them it seems. They remind me of the sporangia of certain slime moulds but then again what doesn't. :-k Folks around here can pretty much tell you I have Slime M :shock: ulds on the brain :lol: Great image and processing work there Philippe :D

A surprising amount of structural detail in the filament Philippe :) . I should hasten to add that my surprise is not based on any expert knowledge just a (clearly wrong) lay assumption that anthers are complex and filaments quite smooth :D

Your pics have convinced me to go take a look at Fovea Pro.
