I thought I'd post the following pictures to add to this forum's information about using the Mitutoyo 10x infinity-corrected microscope objective for macro work.
I purchased this objective new from Edmund Optics. It has a published NA of 0.28 and a working distance of 33.5 mm.
I've mounted it via a flat adapter to a Nikon 180mm f/2.8 fixed focal-length telephoto lens, giving a magnification at the sensor of 9x.
The camera used is a Nikon D700 having a full-frame, 4256 x 2832 pixel 12MP sensor.
A Stackshot rail was used to generate image stacks and Zerene Stacker was then used to merge them down to single images.
Deficiencies in the images are certainly due to my own inexperience and not the objective!
Regards,
Kieran Jones

Scale bars
Thanks for the feedback, g4lab.
To make the scale bars I used the method described by Rik Littlefield in this post.
