The rotifer Notommata aurita in a video

Post by myriophyllum »

Hi,

one more little video. It's about the rotifer Notommata aurita.
I gave them much space to move in a natural way.

These guys were living under the ice of a small lake last february.
I stilll remember me walking back from there through the forest
with wet and cold trousers and socks - while breaking the ice to get
a sample, I slipped and found my feet a half meter under the water... :?

I think it is not Notommata, it is Synchaeta
