Saskatchewan, Canada, Aspen Parkland

I thought I would post about our favorite place.. our "happy place".':D'

A few years ago we bought 400 acres of marginal agricultural and recreational land in the aspen parkland of Saskatchewan. Much of it is covered by native aspen bush and wetlands. We have developed the land into our get away with hiking/snowshoeing trails and a micro cabin/shack to stay in. It provides countless opportunities for all aspects of nature photography. One minute we might be photographing a tiny spider and the next minute a bird or moose or a scenic shot. We also use motion sensing trail cameras to capture candid images of the wildlife.

It all has been great fun.

I really like your rich colours, much like Velvia 50.
