My extreme-macro.co.uk site, a learning site. Your comments and input there would be gratefully appreciated.

1898 Beetle Black Crushed Velvet 12x12 Cardstock is available today in single sheets at https://www.scrapbook.com/store/db-1898.html?kw=db-1898 . It's also listed on the doodlebug.ws website in 25 sheet packages. So, it looks like this material may be available routinely again. That would be very good news. I've written to Doodlebug asking for clarification.

The reply from Doodlebug was oddly ambiguous:
We had such a popular demand for this item that we did bring it back on. With it being discontinued we may not Continue to bring it in
On another front, today I received the piece of Protostar FlockBoard that I ordered on speculation. The Protostar is quite disappointing.

Here is a comparison: big piece of Protostar FlockBoard as it came rolled in the shipping box, with a small piece of Doodlebug Beetle Black Cardstock placed inside for comparison.

I found it at my local Hobby Lobby's physical store, for $1.99 per sheet. It is very black and nonreflective indeed. Good find. Thank you very much, gents.
